What is 640-816 exam?

Cisco’s ICND2 (640-816) one of the two exams for achieving the CCNA certification. You now have to pass exams 640-822 and 640-816 if you opt for the two exams option for your CCNA certification. The exam validates your ability to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office network. Passing this test will also help you in achieving the CCNP and CCIE certifications.

You can also get the CCNA certification through a single test option. For this, you have to take test 640-802 only.

Is 640-816 exam right for you?

The 640-816 test is appropriate for you if you have a basic understanding of computers and networking technology. The prerequisite for this test is the ICND1 (640-822) test.

This test is suitable for you if you want to work as a Network administrator, System Analyst or Network Support Professional.

What to expect in 640-816 exam?

This test consists of multiple choice, drag and drop, and simulation style questions. There is also Case study type and exhibit based questions. You will be required to attempt approximately 45-55 questions in 75 minutes. Cisco does not publish the pass score for the exam but it is generally considered that the passing score is 80%.
