What is 640-802 exam?

Cisco’s CCNA (640-802) exam is an entry-level, single option exam for achieving the CCNA certification. It validates your ability to Configure, verify and troubleshoot switches, Identify security threats to a network and to mitigate those threats and Implement, verify, and troubleshoot networks in a medium-size Enterprise branch office network. Passing this test will also help you in achieving the CCNP and CCIE certifications.

You can also get the CCNA certification through a two tests option. For this, you have to take tests
640-822 and 640-816.

Is 640-802 exam right for you?

The 640-802 test is appropriate for you if you have a basic understanding of computers and networking technology. There are no specific prerequisites for this test, although it is recommended that you should have at least some experience in implementing and administering networks.

This test is suitable for you if you want to work as a Network administrator, System Analyst or Network Support Professional.

What to expect in 640-802 exam?

This test consists of multiple choice, drag and drop, and simulation style questions. There is also Case study type and exhibit based questions. You will be required to attempt approximately 50-60 questions in 90 minutes. Cisco does not publish the pass score for the exam but it is generally considered that the passing score is 849 out of 1000.
